DRAKE RADIO COLLECTION MOVES TO GRAY MUSEUM

R.L. DRAKE AMATEUR RADIO COLLECTION MOVES TO THE JACK GRAY HISTORY OF WIRELESS MUSEUM

August 27, 2013.  The R.L. Drake Company of Miamisburg, OH manufactured some of the finest amateur radio equipment for many years.  They have ceased making amateur radio gear, but set aside one piece of each item made for future museum display.  Former Drake engineers and technicians delivered numerous pieces of radio equipment to the Gray History of Wireless Museum to be displayed.  These items will be on display in the Drake section along with other pieces of amateur radio equipment collected over the years.

Pictured are David Snyder (Gray Museum and VOA Museum board member), Robert Sands, Secretary/Treasurer of the Gray History of Wireless Museum, Inc.), Mark Mantia, Steve Morgan, Steve Koogler, and Bill Frost who delivered the collection.
